Photo Friday - Constructed

IMG_6429

For the theme constructed, I figured I would head to Portland's waterfront and check on how the new brige is progressing. I'm so excited for this new bridge which is for mass transit and pedestrians. No cars will be allowed on. The bridge won't be finished for a few more years. I can hardly wait. I walked down here just as the fog was lifting and the sun was poking through.  I love the eerie look to this picture.

something mysterious is happening behind those clouds...

This photo shows the natural beauty of the waterfront with the bridge in contrast with the towering crane signifying the city’s development. While development and construction is inevitable, this should be done quickly so as not to ruin the natural beauty of the landscape. The clouds may be natural or else they may be a result of the air pollution present in highly developed areas and industrial zones. Hoping that the bridge is finished soon so that it can be enjoyed without the crane.
